Cadiz is one of the oldest cities in Western Europe, founded by the Phoenicians 3,000 years ago. It has since been an important commercial port on the Mediterranean, first, and to America, then. It is also usual stop for cruise ships. Located on a small peninsula, the city is full of historic buildings and squares, picturesque corners and plenty to see and do. The open top City Sightseeing Cadiz bus will take you to all these attractions where you can hop on and off at your own pace while staying in the city.

Around the city you can explore the beautiful Cathedral, which dominates the Cadiz skyline. Other interesting churches in the city are the Iglesia de la Palma, Iglesia del Carmen, Iglesia del Rosario, Iglesia de San Antonio y la Iglesia de Santo Domingo. All these towers and belfries and other landmarks of the city can be seen from the camera obscura of the Tavira Tower.

For museum lovers, the Museum of Cadiz and the Museum of the Cortes of Cadiz collected some of the most important moments in the history of the city. Las Puertas de Tierra, Genoese Park and Plaza Mina are other interesting places.

Another of the main attractions of Cadiz are the urban beaches, the best of Spain. You can get off the bus at the Playa de Santa Maria, Playa de la Victoria and Playa de la Caleta.

Cadiz is also famous for its Carnival, both as street performances and the competition at the Teatro Falla.

Enjoy Cadiz City Sightseeing style.
